Inconel alloy 718 (UNS N07718 / W.Nr. 2.4668) is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel chromium material used at -423° to 1300°F. The age-hardenable alloy can be readily fabricated, even into complex parts. Its welding characteristics, especially its resistance to postweld cracking, are outstanding.
Inconel 718 hot rolled alloy plates are generally nickel alloy plates products with a thickness more than 3mm. Inconel 718 plate inherits the superior corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and fatigue resistance of Inconel 718. In terms of the manufacturing process, Inconel 718 plate can be flattened and cut from coil, it also can be directly hot rolled from Inconel 718 billets. Compared with 718 alloy sheets, Inconel 718 plates have a whiter finish.
